My eating plan for fat loss

Now, before you read this, you must know that, to me, this is more than just a diet, it is a lifestyle. It took some adjusting, starting and restarting but, I can say with certainty, that this has been an effective way for me to lose fat.

1)No carbs

There are so many different approaches to carbs when it comes to weightloss, but given my health problems (my body cannot break down carbs, resulting in fat build up), I decided to give up those slices of toast. Now this does not include, fruit, vegetables, or breakfast meals such as oats or rye. But I no longer eat bread, pasta, etc… It has been around 3 weeks, and I can already see the difference! A common misconception is that you won’t have any energy without carbs in your diet. Well, I have never felt better.

2) Water

At the start of high school, I drank so much water I was basically a fish! But that slowly faded away, and it wasn’t until recently that I started actually drinking from the water bottle that I carry around with me!

3) Small snacks

I eat around 5 times a day. But not all those meals are so largely portioned. I used to eat full meals at tea times! Now I make sure that I only eat the one nectarine, not the whole box!

4) Small dinners

The same applies for dinner. If you are planning on eating a large dinner think again. Unfortunately for us females, men burn fat while they sleep, but we gain! So try to give your body a break at night. Drink water instead.

5) HIIT

Although this isn’t a part of the eating side of things. High Intensity Interval Training is the most effective way to burn fat! Say goodbye to the endless hours of cardio and say hello to only 30 mins – 1 hour of getting your heart rate up and your sweat flowing. I find that my energy increases after these workouts!

6) Supplements

Before taking any supplements, I would recommend going to the doctor and asking first! The capsules I take are Garcinia Cambogia, Apple Cider Vinigar Plus and African Mango. All of these are effective in decreasing cravings, and metabolising food better.

Not to mention that I am a vegetarian, and did lose weight when I cut out the meat! (So consider making the change ;))

I also do not eat any refined sugar, so say goodbye to those muffins and ice-creams! Don’t worry, there are great sugar-free alternatives.

Although everyone is different, this has worked for me, and I have never felt more energised and lighter in my life! At the end of it all though, don’t forget to love your body! You are beautiful and sexy and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. A healthy body is nothing without a healthy mind.
